9026 Eyes | Malibu

When luxury eyewear vendor 9026 Eyes returned to Malibu, they enlisted MASHstudios for round two of a comprehensive store design.  MASH brought in a beachy vibe from the nearby California coastline and channeled a relaxed, mid-century aesthetic straight from the sounds of a sand-sprinkled transistor radio.  The result is a sunny, streamline environment; one part vintage and one part modern.  Built-in display cases feature integrated backlighting that give the glasses a gorgeous glow.  Solid teak driftwood-like drawers line the white walls adding a perfectly distressed, airy aesthetic to the clean angles.  1950’s inspired fold out bobby-legged tables and eclectic seating help conjure the era of California dreamin’.
