Alexis Bittar | Bleeker St.

The inspiration that went into luxury jewelry designer Alexis Bittar’s second showroom came from the client’s love of the classic movie North by Northwest. MASHstudios’ design goal was to create a very calm, classic, and monotone space that channeled the 1940’s, while also showcasing and emphasizing the brilliantly colorful jewelry.  Working with a small budget and space constraints, MASHstudios created a classic west village façade out of an ordinary aluminum storefront by adding wood moldings and raised panel details. Keeping in step with Alexis Bittar’s luxury brand, all the materials were meticulously chosen for quality and richness- including marble floors, upholstered silk interiors, antique mirrors, and hand painted silk wallpaper.
