MEET MASH

MASHstudios is a multidisciplinary design firm that combines award-winning design, engineering experience, and local manufacturing capabilities. Founded in 2002 by Bernard Brucha, MASHstudios is a diverse team of designers and engineers that are grounded in the core competencies of industrial design and fabrication.

MASHstudios began by recognizing a simple truth: no two organizations share the same culture, and no two environments should feel the same. What started as a response to the limitations of standard workplace furniture evolved into a new approach—custom designed and custom built pieces that express identity and purpose.

Today, MASHstudios designs and builds curated environments and bespoke furnishings that move beyond function alone. We believe a thoughtfully crafted environment does more than shape aesthetics—it strengthens connection, fosters belonging, and elevates how people experience space. Through intentional design and integrated fabrication, we create environments that support how people work, gather, and live.

Our studio has returned to Venice—where MASHstudios began. 

Rooted once again in the neighborhood that shaped us, we’re inspired by the authenticity of Lincoln Boulevard, its creative energy, and the vibrant community that surrounds us.

As our practice evolves, so does our space. We’re in the process of reimagining both the interior and exterior of our studio—drawing inspiration from our West Adams showroom while continuing to refine and elevate how we work, create, and welcome our collaborators.

This space is more than a studio. It’s a living reflection of our design philosophy—custom, curated, and always evolving.

MASHstudios also has a state-of-the-art fabrication facility just 40 minutes away from the design studio. Our 30,000 sqft factory is optimized for production and houses state-of-the-art technology which allows efficient design, manufacturing, and installation. We build with speed, intention, and uncompromising quality.
