Project Designer: Studio O+A

Working with Studio O+A, we developed a workstation to complement the horizontal structure that often appeals to web-based companies. The simplicity of construction and detailing draws attention to the solid wood panels and black translucent acrylic dividers. A work surface made of black laminate on European plywood appears to float above a light, open frame. Although modest in size, the quality of materials and craftsmanship supports the company’s ethos and the sense that Dreamhost is a hip company.

Dreamhost’s offices environment has a distinct aesthetic that reflects the expansive nature of the company’s brand and culture , a s well as its location in downtown Los Angeles.
